Congratulations on your acceptance into the GO Fellowship! We are so excited to guide you through this onboarding process. Use this site as a go-to resource as you navigate your journey from pre-service onboarding to the start of your service term.
In order to serve as a Fellow you must complete all the onboarding requirements. Failure to complete onboarding may result in your offer being rescinded or your start date or location being changed. In some cases you might be waitlisted for the Fellowship. Please complete your onboarding tasks efficiently.
Phase 1: Offer
Phase 2: Essential Onboarding Tasks
Phase 3: Fellow Information Survey
Phase 4: Housing & Late Release Tasks
Upon acceptance into the Fellowship you will receive an offer letter, welcome email, and invitation to meet with the Fellow Experience Coordinator Nora Corrigan. Nora will serve as your primary point of contact through the pre-service period. She will walk you through the onboarding requirements, due dates and answer any questions you might have about your service.
Shortly after being hired, you will be prompted to sign up for Greenhouse Onboarding. On Greenhouse you will upload your onboarding tasks and sign necessary documents. Essential onboarding tasks include: uploading a photo ID and social security card, health insurance, proof of education, completing a background check, completing fingerprinting appointments, and site-specific onboarding tasks. In addition to Greenhouse Onboarding tasks you will be asked to complete enrollment into Paylocity, the payroll system we use to disperse your stipend. Review the full onboarding process in the orientation video linked here.
The Fellow Information Survey gathers the necessary information to start organizing and pairing folks to be roommates. During this period we will ask you to opt in or out of GO-provided housing and report lifestyle preferences.
Finally, Typically 2-4 weeks before the start of service, there will be a few more onboarding tasks to complete. For the folks who opted into housing your will be asked to sign a Housing Agreement form on Greenhouse
All Fellows will be completing their MyAmeriCorps enrollment during this period to be officially enrolled as an AmeriCorps member.
